BAGPUSS - THE SONGS AND MUSIC

"Bagpuss, Dear Bagpuss, Old Fat Furry Catpuss" - did you know that Sandra Kerr and John Faulkner composed and performed all the music for the classic BBC kids' show Bagpuss? Sandra was the voice of Madeleine the Ragdoll, and several of the mice, while John was Gabriel the Toad. Now you can re-live those classic songs, like "The Bony King of Nowhere" and "A Friend of Mine, A Porcupine", in a great kids' show for all ages. Join original cast members Sandra and John as well as Nancy Kerr (playing Emily) and James Fagan (Yaffle the Woodpecker). An interactive and often hilarious performance, with loads of chances to join in, "Bagpuss" is a wonderful nostalgic show suitable for all ages.

"A truly lovely lovely show" Kim Headley Broadstairs festival.

For tour dates and bookings see www.cromulentmusic.co.uk

THE FAGANS: Nancy and James also play with Australian family singers The Fagans. James's parents Bob and Margaret and his sister Kate make up the rest of the Sydney-based group. The Fagans appear regularly around the Australian festival circuit and in 2004 will be touring in the UK. For information on the music and CDs by THE FAGANS, including the latest CD "Turning Fine", e-mail Margaret Fagan at: fagansmusic@yahoo.com.au

ROB HARBRON (www.robertharbron.co.uk) is a charming renaissance Cumbrian who defines English concertina playing for us, and can seemingly do anything he turns his hand to - he designed our website, he produced our CD "Strands of Gold" and he is one of the extraordinary English Acoustic Collective. See www.englishacousticcollective.org.uk He also plays with fiddle player Emma Reid (see below.)
